Ex-Australia captain Ricky Ponting said India all-rounder Hardik Pandya was asked to make himself available for WTC final but he said it won't be "fair to everyone else" who has played throughout the WTC cycle. "Pandya feels his body won't get through the rigours of Test cricket," Ponting stated. Pandya has not played a Test match since 2018.
