Paracetamol among 52 drug samples to fail regulatory body's quality test

Drugs regulatory body Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation has found the samples of around 50 drugs, including that of widely-used paracetamol, pantoprazole and some antibiotics for treating bacterial infections, as not of standard quality. Of these sub-standard drugs, 22 were manufactured in Himachal Pradesh. Samples were also collected from Jaipur, Hyderabad, Indore, Vadodara, etc.
