Shabana Azmi has said her parents were against her decision to marry Javed Akhtar, who was then married to Honey Irani, with whom he has two children, Zoya and Farhan Akhtar. "It was really tough...That's why I feel...people shouldn't speculate," she stated. "I give Honey a lot of credit...she never poisoned the children's minds against me," said Shabana.
