Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil, the first openly gay prince from India, in a recent interview, revealed his parents tried to make him have brain surgery to change his sexuality. Manvendra, who is heir of Maharaja of Rajpipla in Gujarat, added, "It was...a case of discrimination and violation of human rights...Parents have no right to put their children through [such] torture."
