Parrot stolen in 2017 reunited with UK owner after 9 years

A British man reunited with his African grey parrot Barney nearly a decade after the bird was stolen in a 2017 burglary. Found wandering in an IKEA parking lot, Barney was identified through his microchip. Rescue worker Gemma Dumbill traced his original owner, Robert Mortimer, who had kept the bird's old cage for nine years, hoping he would return home.
