Ahead of the state elections in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, political parties received ₹542 crore in the 22nd sale of anonymous electoral bonds. The SBI sold 741 bonds worth ₹545.25 crore, taking the total amount sold to ₹10,791 crore since 2018. Meanwhile, ₹10,767.88 crore was encashed and ₹23.59 crore was transferred to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund.
