Parveen Hooda wins India's 2nd boxing gold medal of the day at Asian Games

India's 26-year-old boxer Parveen Hooda won the women's 65kg boxing gold at Asian Games 2026, becoming only the third Indian woman boxer to win an Asian Games title after Mary Kom and Lovlina Borgohain. With Lovlina's 75kg triumph earlier on Friday, India also won two women's boxing gold medals at a single Asian Games edition for first time in history.
