Paschimottanasana may help reduce belly fat, improve flexibility
Paschimottanasana, or Seated Forward Bend, may help reduce belly fat, improve spine flexibility and support digestion. The pose gives a deep stretch to the back, waist and legs and may also help reduce stress. It is best practised on an empty stomach in the morning. People with severe back pain, slipped disc, hernia or recent abdominal surgery should avoid it.
