Paschimottanasana may support flexibility and relaxation
Paschimottanasana, or seated forward bend, is described as a yoga pose that may support flexibility, digestion, and relaxation. The AYUSH Ministry says it can benefit the spine, breathing and overall well-being. However, people with severe back problems, slipped discs or spinal injuries and pregnant women should avoid the pose.
