A pregnant woman in Andhra Pradesh had to deliver the baby on the roadside after a state-run hospital denied entry to her on Saturday. The woman, who was identified as Mariyamma, then headed towards her home but went into labour on her way. Some passersby and local women then helped her deliver the baby on the side of the road.
