Emmanuel Momoh, a pastor working in the informal mining sector in Africa's Sierra Leone, unearthed a 706-carat diamond and handed it over to the government. The government announced that the diamond, among the largest in the world, was given to the President on Wednesday and will be auctioned in a "transparent" bidding process to raise funds for the community.
