Australia captain Pat Cummins has been named the new captain of SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) ahead of IPL 2024. He has replaced Aiden Markram, who had led the Hyderabad-based franchise in IPL 2023. Cummins was bought by SRH for ₹20.5 crore in the IPL 2024 auction that took place in December 2023.
