Paytm Founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma has turned anchor investor for Roots Ventures' maiden fund. "We've already raised ₹100 crore...and expect to close the ₹200-crore fund over the next 2-3 months," Roots Ventures Founder Japan Vyas said. Sharma said Japan is one of the few investors he knows who've had a successful track record for over a decade.
