Payments aggregator Paytm said that it disbursed 6 million loans in July and August in 2022, up 246% from the same period last year. It stated that the total value of these loans rose 484% to ₹4,527 crore. Paytm also added that its total gross merchandise value (GMV) increased to ₹2.10 lakh crore, up 72% from last year.
