Paytm Europe's step-down subsidiary has received a Payment Institution Licence from Luxembourg's CSSF, enabling it to offer payment services under the EU's PSD framework. The licence allows execution and acquiring of payment transactions and supports expansion across European Union countries through the passporting mechanism, strengthening Paytm's long-term European payments strategy.
