Madras High Court has ordered RBI to direct Paytm to compensate a post-graduate medical student who lost around ₹3 lakh to hackers. According to a court document, hackers transferred money from Dr R Pavithra's bank account to their Paytm accounts using its digital payment interface. The court also reprimanded the bank and Paytm for shifting the blame on one another.
