The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has rejected reports of irregularities in the tendering process for the construction of a jackwell in the Bhama Askhed Dam in Pune district. It is alleged the tender was finalised for ₹151 crore, even though the original tender amount was ₹121 crore. The PCMC also dismissed reports that a blacklisted contractor was allotted the work.
