Pentagon says 30 US universities cut or curb flagged foreign ties

The Pentagon said all 30 US universities ordered to audit their foreign partnerships have ended or mitigated ties with institutions on its security list, resulting in more than 80 related actions. Letters show that many of the partnerships involved study-abroad and degree programmes with Chinese universities. China’s embassy said it opposes the politicisation of normal academic exchanges.
