Citizens all across India turned off lights of their houses and lit diyas, candles, torches and flashlights at 9 pm for nine minutes. PM Narendra Modi had requested people to do so as a mark of solidarity in India's fight against coronavirus. Pictures from around the country surfaced online and many celebrities also shared photos on their social media accounts.
