Hundreds of protesters clashed with police in Venice on Friday over the arrival of US ambassador to Italy Tilman Fertitta’s $450 million mega yacht during the city’s Redentore festival. Protesters held signs saying "Venice isn't for sale". Daniele Giordano, secretary of the CGIL union, said the presence of yacht "represents the exact opposite of our idea of social sustainability".
