Actor Kamlesh Sawant, speaking about playing a negative character in Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Drishyam', said, "People used to come up to me and express how they felt like hitting me with sandals." He added that the offensive comments were for his character and not for him. Kamlesh further said his character, Inspector Gaitonde, was meant to receive hatred.
