Over 100 people from Maharashtra's Vasai wrote a letter to PM Narendra Modi, seeking permission to die by suicide over the poor condition of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway (NH‑48). They complained that it takes them 5-6 hours to cover the same distance that earlier took only one hour, with one activist saying, "Dying would be better than living like this."
