People shopped, business boomed: Congress after traders claim ₹11,000-cr loss due to rally

Congress MP Jairam Ramesh shared a news report to claim that I.N.D.I.A bloc's "Chalo Dilli" protest benefitted businesses, small shopkeepers and street vendors as people from across the country went shopping after Rahul Gandhi's appeal. "BJP's entire propaganda has been punctured," he said. His claims came despite Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) claiming over ₹10,000-11,000 crore in losses.
