A record $9.8 billion (₹81,650 crore) was spent online by shoppers in the US during the Black Friday sale, according to an Adobe Analytics report. Demand for electronics like smartwatches and TVs helped boost the sales by 7.5% compared with last year, the report said. This marks a recovery from last year's holiday season when high inflation hit consumers' pockets.
