The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of Civil Services Examination, 2024. Shakti Dubey has topped the examination, while Harshita Goyal and Dongre Archit Parag secured the second and the third rank, respectively. A total of 1,009 candidates (725 men and 284 women) have been recommended by the Commission for appointment to various Services.

RR accused of match fixing after loss to LSG

Jaideep Bihani, Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) ad hoc committee convener, alleged RR were involved in foul play. Bihani also alleged RCA was sidelined from overseeing hosting of IPL due to baseless excuses. RR were banned from IPL 2016 and 2017 due to betting scandal.

According to Goodreturns, gold of 99.9% purity is priced at ₹1,01,350 per 10 grams on Tuesday, CNBC-TV18 reported. Globally, spot gold hit a record high of $3,473.03 an ounce.

India declares three-day state mourning after Pope Francis' demise

Baba Siddique's son and NCP-SP leader Zeeshan Siddique received death threat through email on Monday. The sender said Zeeshan would be killed the same way as his father. The sender also demanded ₹10 crore from Zeeshan, adding they'd send such emails every six hours. Baba Siddique was shot dead last year, with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claiming responsibility for the killing.
