"People wrap gold and stuff it in their anal or vaginal cavities. Some even ingest it," Ravi Kapoor, ex IRS officer, said in a conversation with Raj Shamani. "Others make entire luggage linings out of gold. When the tax on gold is high, the creativity of smugglers gets wilder. It’s all about tax rate margins," Kapoor added.
