Perplexity has opened access to Bumblebee, a read-only supply-chain scanner designed for developer computers running macOS and Linux. The tool scans systems for risky software packages, browser extensions, editor extensions, and AI tool configurations. It does not execute code or package managers during scans, preventing malicious install scripts and identifies exposure to supply-chain threats.
