The makers of 1994 American sitcom 'Friends' told The Hollywood Reporter that Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing, wrote a paper on quantum physics to convince actress Julia Roberts to make a special appearance on the show. Co-writer Jeff Astrof revealed, "I don't know if she fell in love with Matthew on the spot but they soon started dating."
