Peruvian historian, Donato Amado Gonzales and US archaeologist Brian Bauer said that the world heritage site of Machu Picchu in Peru has been called by wrong name for over 100 years. The duo researched and reviewed documents, maps and records by US explorer Hiram Bingham and found that the actual name of the ancient Inca site is Huayna Picchu.
