Petrol and diesel prices increased by ₹5 and ₹3 at Nayara pumps

Private fuel retailer Nayara Energy raised petrol prices by ₹5 per litre and diesel prices by ₹3, PTI reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The revised rates came into effect from early Saturday at Nayara's fuel stations across India. This comes amid pressure on fuel retailers from higher global energy prices and geopolitical disruptions affecting crude and refined-product markets.
