Ireland-based drug maker Allergan on Thursday confirmed its discussion with US-based Pfizer regarding a potential deal in what could be the biggest acquisition in the pharmaceutical industry. Acquiring Allergan, whose market value is over $110 billion, would make Pfizer the world's largest pharmaceutical company with approximately a $330 billion net worth.
