PFRDA to allow pension funds in infrastructure projects

PFRDA plans to let pension funds invest directly in large infrastructure projects within two years, said chairman S Ramann. The regulator also aims to add 2-3 crore NPS subscribers via digital onboarding, UPI-based NPS Tatkal, and Jan Dhan linkages. NPS currently has 2.3 crore subscribers managing ₹19 lakh crore in assets.
