PGIMER Chandigarh successfully treated British cinematographer George Richmond, known for Deadpool & Wolverine, after he suffered a severe cervical spine injury in a paragliding accident in Himachal Pradesh. Rescued with Indian Air Force support, Richmond was airlifted to PGIMER on June 9, where doctors stabilised him and provided intensive care.
