Over 200 doctors from PGIMER in Chandigarh gathered outside director's office at Kairon Block on Tuesday to protest against a junior resident doctor's assault. A 45-year-old patient, who the resident was tending to in emergency ward of the hospital on Monday night couldn't survive. When the patient's daughter was informed about her mother's death, she slapped and manhandled the doctor.
