Phases of moon affects rainfall on Earth: Study

A study by researchers from New University of Washington has shown that lunar forces of the moon affect the amount of rainfall on Earth. When the moon is overhead or underfoot the air pressure is greater, which increases the weight and temperature of the atmosphere, causing the moisture absorption capacity to rise, which decreases rainfall in the area.
