The Philippines has extended a ban on inbound travel from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Oman, and the UAE until July 15. "This is one of the proactive measures imposed to implement international border control because of the COVID-19 Delta variant," presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said. The Philippines has reported 17 cases of the Delta variant so far.
