The economy of the Philippines registered the fastest growth in over four decades in 2022. The country reported an annual gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 7.2% in the fourth quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP growth came in at 2.4% in October-December. However, a global slowdown and soaring inflation will make for a difficult year ahead, analysts warned.
