The Philippines has reported its first case of monkeypox in a 31-year-old citizen who returned from abroad earlier this month, the Health Ministry said. The patient has recovered but is quarantined at home, the ministry added, saying that 10 people have been identified as close contacts, including three from the patient's household. All close contacts have been advised to quarantine.
