Phoebe Gates knew her shopping app took credit for sales it didn't make: Report

Bill Gates' daughter Phoebe Gates was aware of features in her startup Phia that claimed unauthorised sales commissions at least seven months before the company blamed the practice on a bug, Bloomberg reported. The timeline contradicted a July statement that leadership had discovered the tracking behaviour "within the last 24 hours". Notably, app's daily revenue fell after features were disabled.
