A photographer named Stu Berman shared the photo of a 'ghost rainbow' captured by him in California. Also called fogbow or white rainbow, it's caused by the same physical process as the rainbow, except the water droplets that form the fogbow are very small. This causes heightened diffraction that leads to the appearance of weak colours or no colours.
