The pictures of newly-built Vagbhatananda Park at Karakkad, near Vadakara in Kerala's Kozhikode district, have gone viral. Built at a cost of ₹2.80 crore by Kerala Tourism Department, the park has statues, an open stage, a badminton court, an open gymnasium and a children's park. The paths and toilets have been designed to also accommodate the differently-abled.
