The PIB has approved the East-West Corridor of the Lucknow Metro, with an estimated project cost of ₹5,801 crore. With a stretch of 11.165 km, this corridor will link Charbagh to Vasant Kunj under Phase 1B of the metro expansion. The approval came during a PIB meeting in Delhi chaired by the Union Finance Secretary.
