On Maha Shivratri, YSRCP tweeted a cartoon which depicted Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy feeding milk to a child dressed as Lord Shiva. Reacting to the post, BJP National Secretary Sunil Deodhar and state BJP chief Somu Veerraju tweeted, "#YSRCP_Insults_Mahadeva". Deodhar said, "Liquor mafia's party [and]...CM don't have the...right to preach Hindus whom they should feed on festivals."
