IFS officer Parveen Kaswan shared a picture from a garden showing xylaria polymorpha, commonly known as dead man's fingers. "[It] is a saprobic fungus growing from the bases of rotting tree stumps and decaying wood. It has elongated upright stromata poking up through the ground, much like fingers," Kaswan said about the picture.
