The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has shared a picture of Chandrayaan-3's landing site on Moon captured by its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. In the picture, a bright halo can be seen around Vikram lander. It resulted from the rocket plume interacting with the fine-grained regolith (soil). The picture was taken four days after Chandrayaan-3 soft-landed on Moon.
