An astrophotographer recently captured an extremely rare weather phenomenon, known as 'aurora curls', in the south of Iceland. Jeff Dai shared the photo on Instagram and said that the green aurora was seen at its zenith last month and lasted for a few minutes before disappearing. The phenomenon is thought to be caused by vibrations in the Earth's magnetic field.
