Pic shows face of 10,500-year-old woman reconstructed by scientists

A team led by scientists from Ghent University has reconstructed the face of a prehistoric Belgian woman, who lived in the Meuse Valley around 10,500 years ago, using ancient DNA. The researchers found through DNA analyses that the woman had blue eyes and lighter skin than most Mesolithic people. The woman's remains were found in a cave in 1988.
