Richard Madley, who was the auctioneer at the first-ever IPL auction that took place 16 years ago, earlier shared the picture of gavel and auction sheet from the auction. The sheet featured names of MS Dhoni, Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne, Shoaib Akhtar, Mahela Jayawardena and Muttiah Muralidaran. Notably, the IPL 2025 mega auction will be held on Sunday and Monday.
