The US Consulate General in Hyderabad recently opened its new facility at Nanakramguda which is spread over 12 acres and built at a cost of $340 million. Earlier, the US Consulate was operating from Paigah Palace, which was the first US diplomatic office to open in India. The operations at Paigah Palace ended on March 15.
