The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) launched its EC$2 commemorative polymer banknote to mark the bank's 40th anniversary in Antigua. Special batches of EC$2 notes featuring the portrait of former West Indies captain Viv Richards will go into circulation on December 6. "To be honoured in such a way is something dreams are made of," Viv Richards said.
